AWAY.
Geronimo Aguilar came to
Richmond
from
California
with a team of 19 just 7 ½ years ago and since that time has built the 5th
fastest growing church and outreach center in the country. The ROC currently has
over 120 different outreach programs and has helped change thousands of lives as
a result of this mans life story. Located on the south side of
Richmond
the ROC focuses on the neediest and most depressed areas of the city. Servicing
areas like Gilpin, Mosby, Whitcomb and
Hillside
courts as well as the homeless community. Quoting Pastor G as he’s known to
his church family. “If there is a need we seek to fill that need.”
As a result of Aguilar’s life changing experiences he has
devoted the rest of his life to changing the city of
Richmond
for the better. This drama will walk you through that story and allow the
viewer to see the heart of a man so amazing that you will never be the same.
It’s a gritty street level portrayal of the reality of growing up in a broken
home, gang life, drugs and violence that will allow you to experience a life you
have never seen before first hand. And after it’s all said and done you’ll
emerge with a smile and a changed heart.
